LERTA: Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance

Any taxpayer applying for real estate tax exemption under the LERTA ordinance must file an executed copy of these applications, along with a copy of the zoning permit, with the McKean Township Zoning Administrator for McKean Township, the Erie County Assessment Office located in the Erie County Court House, and the General McLane School District, at the time of securing the zoning permit or if no zoning permit or other notification of improvement is required, then prior to the time of commencing construction.  Failure to comply with this request will render these applications invalid.
