When you are visiting McKean Rec Park, stop and pay your respects to the Veteran's Memorial.  This Memorial is for those who made the supreme sacrifice for our country. As a community service project, the scouts of Troop 73 are maintaining the memorial. 

A Veteran's Wall is slated to be build in 2012!  Honor your loved one with the purchase of a brick for the wall.  This is an appreciation wall being built for all veterans who served or who are serving to protect this country. 

The wall will consist of individual veteran's names engraved on each brick and may contain military branch information.  This will be built behind the current Veteran's Memorial in the McKean Community Park.  You do not need to live in the McKean area to place a brick on the wall.
